Product introduction

For selective growth culture of Campylobacter jejuni.

lactalbumin hydrolysates and animal tissue hydrolysates provided carbon and nitrogen sources; Yeast extract provides various vitamins; Sodium chloride maintains a balanced osmotic pressure; Sodium pyruvate and sodium metabisulfite can neutralize the toxic substances in the medium and enhance the air endurance of the medium. A-ketoglutaric acid provides growth factor and promotes the growth of Campylobacter jejuni. Sodium carbonate provides the most favorable acid-base environment for Campylobacter jejuni. Cefepazone and polymyxin B inhibited gram-negative bacteria; Vancomycin and trimethoprim inhibited gram-positive bacteria; Amphotericin B inhibits the growth of yeast and fungi.
