Product description:
1959 McCoy etal reported the amino acids needed for the culture of Novikoff Hepatoma cells in vitro. They produced the formula of MCCOY'S 5A by adjusting the amount of amino acids added on the basis medium 5A. Then Hsu and Kellogg successfully cultured a series of primary cells from a variety of tissues, including normal bone marrow, skin, gingiva, testes, mouse kidney, omentum, adrenal glands, lung, spleen, rat embryo and other tissues.
