Product Introduction:
Weigert-Giemsa Stain (WG Stain) is a composite staining method, which has the advantages of both Wright stain and Giemsa Stain. Wg stain is mainly used for staining blood and bone marrow smears. Various cells and various components of cells have different affinities to the acidic and basic dyes in Wright-Giemsa staining solution due to their different chemical properties. Therefore, after staining with Wright-Giemsa staining solution, the corresponding kinds of cells show different colors, so as to achieve the purpose of identifying their morphological characteristics. Wright's staining solution and Giemsa staining have their own advantages and disadvantages in the staining of nucleus and cytoplasm. Therefore, the combination of the two methods is used to balance the results to achieve a more suitable staining effect.
This product is a ready-use Wright-Giemsa composite staining kit with one bottle of staining solution and one bottle of buffer solution. It has the characteristics of good staining effect, clear contrast and easy operation.
