Endoplasmic reticulum exists in a variety of eukaryotic cells except mature erythrocyte in mammals. Endoplasmic reticulum is an interconnected lamellar gap or tubular system composed of biofilm. The gap space between membranes is called pool, which is usually not directly connected with extracellular space and cytoplasmic matrix. On the one hand, this intracellular membrane conduit system constitutes a pathway for the transport of intracellular substances, on the other hand, it provides a broad reaction area for a variety of enzyme reactions in cells. The function of endoplasmic reticulum is related to the synthesis of proteins, synthesis, detoxification and assimilation of sugars and lipids, and also has the function of transporting proteins. The traditional endoplasmic reticulum extraction method requires higher centrifugal force or density gradient centrifugation, which requires higher laboratory centrifuge equipment and more detailed operation of the experiment. If the laboratory does not have the equipment to achieve a centrifugal force of more than 50000×g, it is impossible to extract. Endoplasmic reticulum extraction kit (low speed centrifugation) only needs a centrifugal force of less than 20000×g to extract endoplasmic reticulum, and conventional desktop centrifuges can meet the requirements. The endoplasmic reticulum extraction kit can be used to extract endoplasmic reticulum proteins from various animal cells and solid soft and hard tissue samples.
Applicable sample: Animal cells/tissues.
