HEPES (N '-a-hydroxythylpiperazine-N' -ethanesulfanic acid) is a hydrogen ion buffer that can control a constant pH range for a long time. The effective buffer range is pH6.8-8.2. It is often used to prepare protein extraction buffer and cell culture buffer.
HEPES is used in cell culture with a final concentration of 10-25mM, which can maintain a relatively constant PH value in open culture or cell observation. The HEPES buffers produced by Solarbio are sterile and can be used directly in cell culture. Storage at 4℃ can extend the shelf life of the product, and it is not recommended to store at low temperature for a long time.
