Product introduction
For the selective isolation and culture of Vibrio cholerae and other enteric pathogenic vibrio SPP.
Principle
peptone provides nitrogen, carbon, vitamins and other nutrients for growth as a basic nutrient; Sucrose as a fermentable carbohydrate; Sodium chloride could stimulate the growth of Vibrio SPP. Sodium cholate, beef bile powder, sodium thiosulfate, sodium citrate and higher pH could inhibit Gram-positive bacteria and coliform bacteria. Vibrio cholerae was sensitive to acidic environment, and its growth was enhanced by high pH value. The reaction of sodium thiosulfate with ferric citrate was used as an indicator to detect the production of hydrogen sulfide. Bromothymol blue and thymol blue were used as acid-base indicators.
preparation method
Weigh 89 grams of this product, add to 1000ml of distilled water, dissolve by boiling, sterilize, and pour into the sterilization plate when cold to 50-55℃. Spare.
