Is an intermediate substance used to determine laccase activity in compost, and can determine the level of laccase activity by the rate of laccase oxidation of ABTS.
Uses: Spectral reagent for free chlorine, chromogenic substrate for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, substrate for peroxidase, which produces a soluble greenish chelate, can read OD value using 405 nm spectrum, can terminate reaction using 1%SDS. But it's not suitable for ELISA,
