Product Description:
Hank's solution is the most commonly used balanced salt solution (HBSS) in biological experiments, mainly used for rinsing tissue blocks and cells during cell culture, as well as preparing other reagents.
A major difference between D-Hank's and Hank's is that the former does not contain calcium and magnesium ions, so D-Hank's can be used to prepare trypsin digestion solution (calcium and magnesium ions can inhibit trypsin activity). Phenol red in the buffer serves as a pH indicator.
The HBSS buffer produced by Solarbio is a ready to use type that has been filtered out and can be directly used for routine purposes such as cell washing during cell culture. There is no need to dilute or filter out any bacteria before use.
