Product introduction:
Fluorescein isothiocyanate is a biochemical reagent, which is mainly used as a fluorescent dye in fluorescent antibody technology. Fluorescein isothiocyanate can bind to various antibody proteins, and the conjugated antibody does not lose its specificity of binding to certain antigens, and has strong green fluorescence in alkaline solution. It can be used for rapid diagnosis of diseases caused by bacteria, viruses and parasites.
It is soluble in water and decomposes in water. It is easy to dissolve in alkaline aqueous solution, and shows strong green fluorescence disappearance, and precipitates, and then dissolve and appear fluorescence after adding alkali. Insoluble in acetone, diethyl ether and petroleum ether. It is hygroscopic.
