Product Introduction:
Calcium is abundant in human body. As a scaffold to support human body, bone plays an important role in secretion, transportation, muscle contraction, nerve conduction and so on. The Alizarin Red S-calcium staining method is an authoritative and classic technique aimed at analyzing the phenomenon of orange red calcium deposition in fixed treated cell samples by using the Aohe technique to create complexes between calcium ions and Alizarin Red S. Mainly suitable for detecting calcium deposition and calcified nodules in primary or cultured animal cells, widely used in pathological and physiological research of bone cells or tissues.
Alizarin Red S Solution, 1%, pH4.2 is suitable for calcium salt staining of tissues and cell sections. It is often used in combination with fast green or Mayer hematoxylin staining solution, and orange red precipitates are formed at the calcium salt site. It is suitable for staining small amounts of calcium salt tissue. The staining time is short, usually 5-10 minutes, but too long can easily lead to calcium salt dispersion and poor staining effect. The color intensity depends on the calcium salt content.
