Bacterial flagella is the motile organ of bacteria. H. pylori can penetrate the mucus layer on the gastric epithelial cells from the highly acidic inner cavity to reach the neutral environment of gastric epithelial cells, which is a good example of flagellar motility. Through flagella staining, the morphology, number and location of flagella in the distribution of the cell can be observed.The number of flagella and their distribution on the bacterial body are important criteria for identifying bacteria
