Product introduction
Protease Inhibitor (Protease Inhibitor) is a substance that binds with some groups on the active center of the protease molecule to reduce or even disappear the activity of the protease but does not denature the enzyme protein. There are many kinds of protease inhibitors, including EDTA, E-64, NaVO3, Bestatin, Leupetin, PepstatinA, Aprotinin, etc., which can effectively inhibit protein degradation and maintain the original protein-protein interaction. Protease inhibitor mixture (100×PIC) was mainly composed of Leupetin, PepstatinA, Aprotinin, E-64, etc, and did not contain EDTA. The mixture can inhibit the activity of most proteases, including serine protease, cysteine protease, pepsin, trypsin, papain and so on. The protease inhibitor mixture is a 100× concentrated DMSO solution, which is suitable for extracting protein from mammalian tissues and cells, and can obtain the target protein more effectively.
Scope of application
The extracted protein can be used for Western Blot, immunoprecipitation and other tests.
Usage method
1. Before opening the cover, please centrifuge at low speed, so as to throw the liquid adhering to the tube wall to the bottom of the tube.
2. When used, protease inhibitor mixture (100×PIC) was added according to the amount of lysate, so that the final concentration reached 1×.
Notes:
1, protease inhibitor mixture has slight irritation, careful operation, and should avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
2, for your safety and health, please wear a lab coat and wear disposable gloves to operate.
