Principle:
Yeast extract powder provides nitrogen source, vitamins and growth factors; Glucose provides a source of carbon; Calcium chloride, magnesium sulfate, ammonium sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, cobalt chloride, boric acid, sodium molybdate provide various ions to maintain a balanced osmotic pressure and facilitate the growth of target bacteria. Potassium phosphate monobasic acid-base buffer. Agar is a coagulant.
Usage:
Weigh 29.0g of this product, heat and dissolve it in 1000ml of distilled water, divide it, autoclave it at 121°C for 15 minutes, when it is cold to 45-50°C, add an appropriate amount of sterile 1N HCI or 1N H2SO4 to adjust the pH value to 4.0±0.2, mix well, pour it into a sterile dish, and set aside.
