Background | HCV Peptide (35-44), a HCV core protein at positions 35 to 44, is a HLA-A2-restricted CTL epitope. HCV Peptide (35-44) inhibits NK cell activity via two distinct mechanisms, directly via KIR2DL2/3, and synergistically via the CD94:NKG2A receptor. |
In Vitro | HCV Peptide (35-44) (0-100 μM) inhibits degranulation of the total NK cell population. HCV Peptide (35-44) increases cell surface expression of both HLA-C and HLA-E. |
