| Background | 6-Aminocaproic Acid， a monoaminocarboxylic acid， is a potent， orally active inhibitor of plasminogen and plasminogen. 6-Aminocaproic Acid is a potent antifibrinolytic agent that competitively binds lysine residues on plasminogen， prevents clot dissolution， inhibits plasminogen formation， and reduces fibrinolysis. 6-Aminocaproic Acid can be used in the study of bleeding disorders. |
