Product Description | ArcticExpress(DE3) cells were derived from BL21-Gold strain, belonging to Lon and OmpT proteinase-deficient Escherichia coli B strain. The gentamicin-resistant plasmid was able to stably express Cpn10 and Cpn60, two cryogenic molecular companions of Marine bacteria Oleispira antarctica. These chaperones showed higher activity than E. coli GroEL/GroES at lower temperatures (4-12 ° C), and could better promote the correct folding of recombinant proteins at low temperatures, potentially increasing the yield and activity of soluble recombinant proteins, and overcoming the misfolding and insolubility of recombinant proteins. The strain also has the λ phage DE3 gene region, which can express T7 RNA polymerase, and is suitable for efficient expression of prokaryotic expression vectors (such as pET) containing T7 promoters. Non-t7 promoter expression vectors (such as pGEX, pMal, pTrc, etc.) can also be expressed in this strain. ArcticExpress(DE3) receptor cells were made by a special process, and the conversion efficiency of pUC19 plasmid was greater than 1×107CFU/μg DNA |
Note | 1,the receptive cells should be stored at -70℃,not repeatedly frozen and thawed and placed for too long,in order to avoid reducing the conversion efficiency of the receptive cells. 2,the conversion operation should be carried out according to the requirements of the corresponding temperature and aseptic conditions. 3. In order to prevent the conversion experiment from being successful,part of the connected reaction liquid can be retained to re-convert and minimize the loss. |
