Product Introduction
Williams culture-medium E was originally developed by Williams and Gunn for long-term attenuated serum culture of adult rat liver epithelial cells. At the same time, it can also be used in the culture of various mammalian stem cells. This product contains 2000 mg/L glucose, 50 mg/L glycine and 25 mg/L sodium pyruvate; Free of phenol red, L-glutamine and HEPES. Since the medium does not contain any protein components or growth factors, it is necessary to add 5-10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) when using. Because the medium contains 2.2 g/L of sodium bicarbonate, it needs to be used in an environment containing 5-10% carbon dioxide.
