DMEM/F12 culture medium is based on DMEM culture medium, adding more abundant nutrients in F12 culture medium, containing a variety of trace elements, and is widely used in the culture of various mammalian cells. At the same time, DMEM/F12 medium is often used as the basis for the development of serum-free medium, and it is also suitable for the culture of mammalian cells with low serum content and clone density. HEPES is an excellent biological buffer, which has no toxic effect on cells. The culture medium added with HEPES can maintain a constant PH range for a long time, which can effectively prevent the adverse effects of large PH fluctuations on cell growth.
