Product Introduction
Clostripain (Endoproteinase-Arg-C) is a collagenase-related double-chain protease isolated from Clostridium histolytica. It is highly specific to the carboxyl peptide bonds of arginine. Clostripain needs sulfhydryl; It is activated by dithithreitol, cysteine, or other agents containing sulfhydryl groups. The presence of calcium ions is essential

Precautions
It is grown in a completely animal-free medium and is designed for bioprocessing applications where the introduction of pathogens of animal origin must be prevented.

Isoelectric point: 4.8-4.9
Inhibitor: EDTA; Oxidizing agent; Sulfhydryl reagents (such as TLCK); Co2+, Cu2+, Cd2+, and heavy metal ions; Citrate, borate and Tris anion were partially inhibited
Unit definition: Hydrolyzed 1 micromole of N-benzoyl-L-arginine ethyl ester 1 unit per minute in the presence of dithithreitol at 25 ℃ and pH 7.6.
