Product Introduction

Carbonic anhydrase (CA) catalyzes the reversible hydration dehydration reaction of CO2/H2CO3. CAs is widely found in nature, in animals, plants, and certain bacteria. Sixteen isoenzymes have been identified and identified in mammals. Because erythrocyte CA is relatively easy to obtain for experimental purposes, it is the most widely studied.

Application

Determination of carbon dioxide in the blood;

Eliminate CO2 in acidity test reagent;

Carboxyl group transfer;

Reduction reaction.

Precautions

The transport and excretion of carbon dioxide in the blood is largely dependent on the rapid catalysis of carbon dioxide reactions in red blood cells by CA. Bovine CA reversibly hydrates alkyl pyruvate and exhibits hydratase activity against a variety of substrates
