Product introduction:
Oxazole yellow is a high affinity carbonyl anthocyanin monomer nucleic acid green fluorescent dye with non cell membrane penetration, Ex/Em: 491/509 nm, which is basically non fluorescent in the absence of nucleic acid. This dye can be used to identify apoptotic cells. Oxazole yellow can penetrate into early apoptotic cells and stain them, while propidium iodide (PI, P4034) (a dead cell staining) maintains non permeability to early apoptotic cells but can stain late apoptotic cells. When used in combination, these two dyes can distinguish between early and late apoptotic cells.
