Product introduction
Red blood cell (RBC), also known as red blood cell, is the largest number of blood cells in the blood, vertebrate body through the RBC transport oxygen, RBC also has immune function, in the anemia test can be used to detect the red blood cell membrane defects. The kit uses Parpart method, also known as photoelectric colorimetric method, its detection principle is that red blood cells suspended in isotonic saline can maintain a double-sided concave disc state, if the osmotic pressure increases, red blood cell water will exuded outside the cell and appear shrinkage, if the osmotic pressure decreases, water will penetrate into the cell, causing red blood cells to expand and rupture, hemolysis. Using this principle, red blood cells were added to a series of different concentrations of hypotonic saline to check the degree of hemolysis in order to judge the ability of red blood cells to resistance to hypotonic solution. This test is called erythrocyte osmotic fragility test, which is mainly used to detect the osmotic fragility of human and animal blood.
