Product introduction
Red blood cell (RBC), also known as red blood cell, is the most abundant blood cell in the blood, vertebrate body through RBC transport oxygen, RBC also has immune function, in anemia examination can be detected by sucrose water hemolysis test to detect red cell membrane defects. It is especially suitable for the detection of paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), which is a chronic intravascular hemolysis caused by acquired erythrocyte membrane defects, often aggravated during sleep, and can be accompanied by hemoglobinuria and pancytopenia.
The kit is based on the low ionic strength of sucrose solution, and the patient's blood is incubated at 37℃, which can promote the combination of complement and red blood cell membrane, so that the complement sensitive red blood cell membrane forms holes, sucrose water enters the red blood cell and causes red blood cell membrane rupture and hemolysis. It is mainly used to detect the defects of red blood cell membrane in human and animal blood. It is especially used to identify paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria.
