Description: Biochemical research; Fluorescence and phosphorescence spectrophotometric analysis of phosphorus; Determination of mercury by fluorescence.

Properties: white crystalline or white crystalline powder. Slightly thiazole odor. Bitter. Sensitive to light. It absorbs moisture easily when exposed to air. Normal air humidity absorbs 1mol of water to form hydrate. Decomposition at 248℃. 1g is soluble in 1ml water, 18ml glycerin, 100ml 95% ethanol, 315ml anhydrous ethanol, easily soluble in methanol, soluble in propylene glycol, almost insoluble in ether, benzene, hexane and chloroform. The pH of 1% (w/V) aqueous solution is 3.13; A 0.1%(w/V) aqueous solution has a pH of 3.58. Median lethal dose (mouse, oral)8224mg/kg.
